Behind the Camera
Welcome to Mia's site!
We dedicate this album to the life and times of our little Miss Mia (aka Ms. Moo to all of her fans) who we lost on January 11, 2017.
Dear Mia, You have made the past 15 1/2 years a true joy. If it wasn't for you, at certain times, I don't know what I would have done. I depended on you being there when I got home as much as you did on me coming home. I, so, truly miss coming home with you being there and waiting for me. I know we will see each other again; when I can kiss your little face and chase you around but that doesn't mean my heart will not ache or that I will not miss you dearly. You will always have a piece of my heart. Until I see you again my sweet little puppy! Mommy is trying to be strong for Daddy but she is a real mess, too!
We love and miss you so much,
Mommy & Daddy
Dear Mommy & Daddy, Thank you so much for such a wonderful life and for taking care and loving me as you did. I am sorry that I had to leave you, but it was my time. I will wait for you so that we can cross the Rainbow Bridge together. You both work so hard and I loved when you would come home to take me for a walk or to hang out. I know you look for me when you come home and think about me often. Please do not cry as although I miss you both very much I am in a better place. Just know that I am so proud of Mommy for helping people as she does so naturally and happy that she has found a home as Concierge at Sand Pearl Resort. And, to my Daddy, you are my sunshine for without you I would not have lived for as long as I did. I am so very proud of you and love you very much. Know that I am with you and watching over you. Continue to take care of people the way only you can. People will see how much you care and will want you to help them in Real Estate. You will see....I promise!
Love,
Your little Miss Mia!

HOW IT ALL BEGAN
I can remember the first day I met this little fluff ball who fit in the palm of my hands. Her little head was sticking out of this floral bag, her legs were no longer than a blade of grass and she was just so cute that I immediately fell in love. The one thing to note about Lhasa Apso’s is that they are fiercely loyal and very protective (Tibetan Guard Dogs to the Palace) so Mia’s “Lhassitude,” as we would call it, sometimes caught people off guard. If Mia stayed with you she would choose one person in your home, and then you were hers to protect during her stay! However, once Daddy came back to get her she would jump back into my arms and immediately change her duty back over to me.
